Initially when starting fasting it is normal to deal with some hunger. This will pass after you have completed a few fast days, but in the meantime here are some quick tips to cope with those hunger pangs:
- Keep hydrated - lots of water, black coffee/tea
- Stay active - walk, workout, play a game
- Don't panic - the hunger will pass quickly
As you can see there's no reason to freak out about a little hunger. Your body is just learning how to switch to burning fat again. Once you have a few fast days under your belt your body will have switched to a fat burning machine, the way it evolved to.
